Nakhon Sawan means "Heavenly City". It is the place where the Ping and Nan rivers merge to form the Chao Phraya River. There are many interesting places that worth a visit such as The Mae Wong National Park, Bueng Boraphet which is the largest freshwater swamp in Thailand, Nakhon Sawan Provincial Cultural Building which is the centre of historical, archaeological and cultural information of the province.
